Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Dehradun to Sankri (10 hrs)

Get a morning bus from near Dehradun railway station and drive towards Sankri via Mussoorie, Damta, Purola, Mori and Netwar. It is one of the most scenic routes and is perfect for photography. Overnight stay in GMVN rest house.

Day 02: Trek from Sankri to Juda ka Talab

After breakfast, begin trek towards Juda lake. The trek is easy and the campsite can be reached in 3-4 hours. Juda Lake base camp lies in the middle of lush green meadows and is surrounded by Oak and Pine trees from all sides, making it one of the most scenic campsites in India. Camp overnight by lake side.

Day 03: Trek from Juda ka Talab to Kedarkantha Peak

Wake up early morning to witness the most spectacular sunrise and enjoy the calmness till while sipping hot tea. After breakfast, start trek towards Kedarkantha base camp. This part of the trek takes you through dense coniferous jungles and the trail is rather interesting owing to rare Himalayan flora and fauna. In about 4 hours, reach Kedarkantha Base camp. Kedarkantha base is a campsite that leaves you wanting to stay there forever. Vast green meadows that look nothing less than a priceless painting portraying nature in its best form are indeed the best place to set camp and relax. After lunch and rest continue the trek to Kedarkantha Peak from where you will see the spectacular snow laden peaks of Gangotri and Yamunotri. Take a breath at the peak and capture the beauty of having climbed a mountain. Descend down to base camp. Now you can relax and live the most beautiful view of the setting sun behind snow covered mountains. Camp overnight at Kedarkantha base camp

Day 04: Trek from Kedarkantha to Hargaon

Today we will start our journey back to Sankri. We will trek from Kedarkantha peak to Hargaon and set our camp there.

Day 05: Trek from Hargaon to Sankri

After breakfast, start trek slowly towards Sankri. Reach Sankri. Overnight at Sankri
