God lavished all his love when He set about creating Uttarakhand. It is known as the Land of the Gods and rightly so. The famous four pilgrimage spots Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath are located in this State. At one end the land rises to towering mountains with their snow capped peaks kissing azure skies, and then the land undulates into meadows, lush with greenery with diadems of flowers that speak the language of the heart. Rivers frolic and gambol on their way to the sea. It is life. It is youth. It is made for love and no wonder it is the choice of honeymooners.
If you are setting out on your honeymoon, you have two options: go by yourself or join a group tour. Traveling on your own entails a lot of bother in that you have to make arrangements for surface transportation, accommodation and meals throughout the journey and this can take away from the enchantment of a honeymoon trip. Join a group tour and the tour operator manages everything. Better still, join a honeymoon tour group where others too are on their honeymoon and the air is suffused with love where everyone shares common bonds of their first trip together. In the company of others you can enjoy some quiet, some fun, frolic and enjoyment of a trip that stays etched in your memory forever. A typical honeymoon tour of Uttarakhand covers Mussoorie, Corbett National Park, Nainital and Ranikhet in a fabulous 8 days 7 nights tour.
