The tour starts from Delhi, but actual Ladakh bike trip will starts from Manali, a quaint charming town surrounded by majestic hills and woody forests and serene scenes of the pristine river Bias.

Our Voyage will start from Delhi the capital of India; board bus for the journey to the Backpacker’s town Manali. We will reach Manali by next morning. After reaching Manali, we will be staying in riverside camps. The bike trip begins from day 3 with our drive out to Jispa. We will reach Sarchu on day 4 by crossing the famous Baralacha La. Lachung La, Moray Plains, and Tanglang La are the main attractions on the way to Leh on day 5. Tanglang La provides a scenic view from every angle with ample vegetation on both sides. We will reach Leh by late afternoon.

We ride out after breakfast for Pangong Lake on day 7 through some more high altitude passes, beautiful grazing grounds and landscapes. Spend night in the lakeside camp. After exploring Pangong Lake, we will ride for Tso Moriri on Day 8.

We will leave for Manali on day 9 and reach Sarchu through Manali-Leh Highway. On day 10, we will reach Manali by late afternoon. You can explore Manali town and spend some quality time on Mall Road.

On Day 11, our representative will transfer you to bus stand where you can onboard our Volvo bus to reach Delhi next day. You will reach Delhi by next morning where our trip ends.

ITINERARY

Ladakh Bike Trip

Day- 1: Delhi – Manali (560Kms/12-13Hrs)

Our trip will start from Delhi where you are going to board our Volvo bus for the journey to Manali. It will be almost 12 hrs journey from Delhi to Manali which will give you the hilly experiences and also the exciting feel. Volvo will be the in charge of your comfort concerns during overnight journeys.

Day- 2: Arrival at Manali

Arriving Manali in the morning, stay in riverside camps and take some rest. After serving lunch, we will take motorbike tour in the meandering roads of the Kullu Valley with Himalayas on the one side and River Beas on the other. We will test ride to famous Vashisth temple and watch the natural hotspring there.

This ride will help you to test the characteristics of the bike and acquaint yourself to handle the motor beast for your entire tour as the roads would be tricky. Enjoy a fun ride to the beautiful Kullu Valley. Return back to your camps for the night and enjoy the dinner.

Day- 3: Manali to Jispa (150Km/7-8Hrs)

After having delicious breakfast we will ride to Jispa while crossing the beautiful Rohtang Pass, Gulaba and Marhi. This journey will be exciting as we will drive on the stunning Rohtang Pass, situated at an altitude of 3,798 m. Road leads to this pass is extremely challenging and weather conditions are most of the times uncertain too. We will come across a number of tourists who have come here to enjoy snow activities. Drive via Lahaul valley, nestled amid snow-clad peaks we will reach Jispa in the late evening. Overnight stay and dinner at camps in Jispa.

Day- 4: Jispa to Sarchu (120Kms/6-7Hrs)

We will start our ride after early breakfast and reach Sarchu by evening through the ill famed Baralacha La. We will have some wonderful views as we are driving on Baralacha Pass (5000 m). Located at tri-junction of three roads, one from Manali, one from Leh and another from Spiti and Lahaul, Baralacha La is located at an elevation of 16,043ft.This pass is also the starting points of various treks like Suraj Tal trek and Chandra Tal Trek.

If you are planning road trip from Manali to Leh then it is always advisable to cross this pass before Noon because melting of snow and formation of water stream on the high altitude of this pass makes it difficult to cross.

We will continue our ride to reach Sarchu in the evening which is a village that forms the border between Himachal and Kashmir. Overnight stay and dinner in camp at Sarchu.

Da- 5: Sarchu to Leh(215Kms/9-10Hrs)

We will start our ride through the beautiful sights of the region and the changes landscape. Make a stop at Nakeela River, Gata Loops and Tanglang La. We will drive through the highest motorable mountain Pass on Manali – Leh Highway, Tanglang La (5300 m). This pass provides a scenic view from every angle with ample vegetation on both sides. Due to the Sharp curves Tanglang La can get distressing for the first timers hence it is important you to take someone who’s been on these roads before.

As we cross the pass, we will enter into the mountainous roads of Leh. After enjoying a high tea at Rumtse, we will reach Leh in the evening. Overnight dinner and stay in hotel at Leh

Day- 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (130Kms/6-7Hrs)

After having early breakfast, we will ride to Nubra Valley passes through Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. It will take approx 6-7 hrs to cover a distance of 130 Km to reach Nubra Valley. We will visit Hunder sand dunes where you can see double humped Bactrian camels. We will also pay our visit to Diskit Monastery and its giant Buddha. Overnight stay in a typical high altitude Ladakhi village in Nubra valley – Hunder or Sumur. Dinner and overnight stay in Desert Camps.

Day- 7: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shyok Valley (170Km/6-7Hrs)

The sixth day of our tour covers a visit to the picturesque Pangong Lake. Today we have to cover a long distance of 170 Km; hence we will leave Nubra Valley early in the morning after breakfast. We will ride to Pangong Lake via Shyok Valley which takes around 6-7 Hrs.  Pangong Lake, largest brackish water lake in Asia is one of the best attractions of Ladakh.

We will reach Pangong Lake by late afternoon. On arrival we will stay in the lakeside camp which is an experience of lifetime. Dinner and stay in camp near Pangong Lake.

Day- 8: Pangong Lake – Tso Moriri (280Km/9-10Hrs)

Having our breakfast early in the morning we will head towards Tso Moriri. Our now’s Ladakh bike trip will be tiring but you will have to manage it little.  The journey is quite difficult and therefore participants should be careful and pay attention to the instructors.

We will reach Tso Moriri by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in lakeside camps at Tso Moriri.

Day- 9: Tso Moriri to Sarchu (228Kms/8-10Hrs)

We will leave Tso Moriri early in the morning for Sarchu. En-route, you will see Pang, a scenic spot in Ladakh’s landscape. We will reach Sarchu in the evening which is the middle point of Manali and Leh. Overnight dinner and stay in Camps.

Day- 10: Sarchu to Manali (215 Kms/8-10Hrs)

In the morning, we will begin our drive through the Sarchu plain and reach the Baralaccha plain till noon. We will reach Manali in the evening where dinner and stay will arrange in hotel.

Day- 11: Departure from Manali

After breakfast, checkout from hotel. Take Volvo bus in the afternoon which will drop you to Delhi on next morning.

Stay is included from Day 2 to Day 10 (Leh to Leh). You will be staying in hotels in Leh, desert camping in Nubra valley, lakeside camping in Pangong Lake and Tso Moriri, and riverside camping in Manali. You will be staying in camps during you ride to Leh and back.

Meals

From dinner at Manali on Day 2 to breakfast at Manali on Day 11 are included. All meals except Lunch are included in this cost. A lot of emphasis is given to nutritional needs.
