The state is gifted with some of the most exotic historical monuments that take you back to the time they were bustling with life. The Other Home brings to you the ‘Gujarat Heritage Tour’ to celebrate its glorious past with places such as Baroda, Ahmadabad, Chhota Udaipur, Jambughoda, and Gondal among others.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Baroda / Ahmadabad

Upon your arrival at Baroda / Ahmadabad Airport/Railway station you will be driven to Jambughoda (90 Kms ex-Baroda & 190 Kms ex-Ahmadabad). Upon your arrival you will be met by our representative and be transfer to your TOH Property/accommodation. In the evening have short visit to the Village. Overnight stay will be at heritage TOH Property/accommodation “Jambughoda Palace”.

Day 02: Chhota Udaipur – Full Day Excursion

After breakfast experience a full day visit to Chhota Udaipur (55 Kms one-way) to see colorful tribal belt which is unique of Gujarat Traditional and cultural living style. Towards the evening return to the palace for Overnight stay.

Day 03: Jambughoda / Uthelia

After Breakfast you will be driven to Uthelia via Champaner (65 Kms + 110 Kms), A World Heritage site declared as one of the hundred endangered architectural monument of the World. Towards the evening you will arrive at Uthelia. Overnight stay will be at the heritage TOH Property/accommodation “Uthelia Palace” for a night.

Day 04: Uthelia / Bhavnagar

After breakfast you will visit the Harappan Era ruins located at Lothal just 10 Kms from the palace. After the visit proceed towards Bhavnagar which is a historical city. In the evening visit the Museum and the local Bazaar. Overnight stay will be at the heritage TOH Property/accommodation “Nilambag Palace” for 2 Nights.

Day 05: Palitana

(Full day excursion) Early Morning 05:00 Hrs Drive to Palitana 57 Kms / 1 Hour 40 Minute Drive, Visit Shatrunjaya Hill, 2000 ft. near Palitana town, which has around 863 temples with arches, carved pillars & Bejeweled idols, ranging from the 11th – 20th century. Later in the afternoon return to Bhavnagar for Overnight stay.

Day 06: Bhavnagar / Gondal

After breakfast you will be driven to Gondal (180 Kms). You will arrive at Gondal an historical city of Gujarat around noon. Evening visit the Naulakha palace the oldest extended palace in Gondal, the 17th century Naulakha palace is a festival of stone carvings with exquisite Jharokha Balconies. Have a peek at the Royal Family’s Vintage car collection. Most of the cars are restored and some bear the original Gondal State number plates. Overnight stay will be at the heritage TOH Property/accommodation “Orchard Palace or Riverside Palace” at Gondal for one night.

Day 07: Gondal / Wankaner

After Breakfast, hit the road for Wankaner on the way visit Rajkot (40 Kms + 55 Kms) including the Watson Museum, Rashtriya Shala to see the weaving of cloths and the local Rajkot City area. In the afternoon you will arrive at Wankaner and enjoy a visit to the Palace Museum and the local Village. Overnight stay will be at the heritage TOH Property/accommodation “Oasis Place “for one night.

Day 08: Wankaner / Ahmadabad

After an early breakfast you will be driven to Ahmadabad (220 Kms.). Later in the afternoon we proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Ahmadabad. Overnight stay will be at heritage TOH Property/accommodation “MG House” for a night.

Day 09: Departure – Ahmadabad

In the morning you will be transferred to the airport/railway station to board your Flight / Train to the next destination.
