A typical itinerary would go like this:

Day 1 Srinagar Arrival

Fly in to Srinagar or take a train and be welcomed by the tour operator who takes you forthwith to your enchanting little houseboat where cozy accommodation awaits. Refresh yourself and venture on a poetic shikara ride as the Sun sets on idyllic tranquil waters of the Dal.

Day 2: Sonamarg Excursion

Wake up bright and cheerful and get set to visit Sonamarg, about 84 kilometers away. The ride is a journey of pure pleasure as the scenic countryside rolls past and you arrive some 3 hours later at Sonamarg, 9000 feet above sea level. Take a trek to the Thajiwas Glacier, walk around or just sprawl and let Sonamarg infuse into you before returning to Srinagar for a well earned dinner and rest.

Day 3: Pahalgam

Pahalgam is the Valley of Shepherds, a beautiful destination it takes 4 hours and more of travel along scenic roads before you reach it and then set out on a nature walk or explore the surroundings before spending the night in a hotel.

Day 4: Pahalgam to Srinagar

After breakfast and a brief tour around, you proceed to Awantipora Ruins on the road to Srinagar and take in the Mattan Temple Complex as well. Arrive in Srinagar in the late afternoon and cool off at the Mughal Gardens or the Shalimar, both close to the Dal. Spend the night in a nice hotel.

Day 5: Srinagar to Gulmarg and back

This is a wonderful day when you will visit Gulmarg, the Valley of Flowers at a height of 8700 ft, famous for its golf course and a ski resort as also a cable car ride. The view is stunning. Return to Srinagar for the night.

Day 6: Departure

A farewell breakfast and your tour guide bids you farewell as the tour ends.
